Normally when we see fashion, see new trends, see pretty pictures, we will all go WOW! so nice...
BUT wow dun just stay at fashion or stay with pretty pictures. It can also be instilled into our daily life.

i was pleased to be able to tag along with barefootgirlfdaynight to the new Kotex WOW launch.
The event was held at Heaven's loft at Orchard Central.
The place was just ideal for a girlie gathering.
The place was in floral, girlish colors and beautifully decorated.

to add to the mysterious waiting time before the new product was launched FIRST HAND to us, KOTEX arrange for lovely food, drinks and DIY cupcakes decorations for us.. tell me you are not tempted by the cupcakes!!!

Whilst all of the lady bloggers were mingling around, it was time for kotex to launch the mysterious products. Their marketing team took the stage and show us a clip of kotex history and the beautiful new kotex designs. They even had an unveiling of the kotex WOW wall.

Around us were lookbooks with the samples of the new kotex design. so lovely that it tempted me to want to grab one pack for my monthly pains.

recently my face's been really itchy. like mad itchy. i can subconsciously scratch my nose until it show signs of slight bleeding :(
dont ask me why, it just itches a whole lot!!
couldnt take it just now and went to see the derma.

doc say it might be a case of eczema.

not only my hair scalp gt this issue! my face might have it too!!!??

sorry for the long hiatus!
been a bit blocked up in my brain to blog abt anything readable.
hahaha....
back from bali.
had a fun/tired/brutal weather/leg aching/lack of slp holiday.
sounds fun rite?

i wanna go holiday AGAIN!!!!!

let me sum up the places i went to, in denpaser!...

im leaving on a jet plane... leavingggg on a jet plane .... :p ....
took garuda direct to bali...

by the time we reach, was night time...
the tour guide pick us up from the airport and brought us to our villa...
traditional old balinese style....

We checked in and headed for a drink... theres quite a few pub there. quite haps. but think we prefer chilling by the pool. haha
we got real drunk with all the booze consumption, everyone knock out...

woke up for breakfast with droopy eyes. hahahaha
got ready in a hurry and headed out for our tour and spa visit....

On our way back, we cant resist getting the famous UBUD roast pig... i only ate the roasted skin. the meat the rest of them SUP!
bf says its good.

after a session of relaxing spa,

We headed for the well-said jimbaran dinner. the atmosphere is great BUT the seafood is disappointing...
dun be deceived by the pictures.

After a long day, we headed by to have a night swim and booze again!!!

3rd day: we headed out for water sports and a walk along kuta beach, followed by free hard rock lunch, hard rock is pretty la! like so niceeee... private cabana & pool volleyball la!

After which we headed back to villa! chill & nua again before heading out for a sumptous dinner..

the final day was our nua day with a free 1hr balinese massage throw in by the villa. before we know it, time pass so fast, we headed home....

the trip was fun cause the bf was with me...

you make me contented.

went for lunch this afternoon at the ION.
we decided to try Itacho Sushi cause they have lunch sets at $9.90.
food was alright.
The amazing thing is that the sushi all comes in only ONE pc! zzzzz
i guess they dun promote sharing. hur hur.
other than the lunch sets, the rest are rather pricey.
and i think the dinner selection is not much.

Today's lunch is .....
:)
we went to ION for lunch today. decided to dine at LU GANG XIAO ZHENG.
its a restaurant selling taiwanese cuisine...
we order:
1.lu rou fan (supposedly to limited servings per day!)
the meat served in the rice is minced meat with NO FATS. yummilicious...
small portion for ladies... not enough for a guy's capacity..

2. Lu Gang fried rice
Big portion, with taiwanese sausages/prawns/eggs. not too bad. dun really taste like our regular fried rice...

3. Half original duck.
the duck is roasted, with bit of a herbal taste. quite yummy (pity it's not hot enuf).. pair with the chilli. *slurp*

4. Oyster omelette
The texture dun taste the same as our Local omelette. a bit more starchy. not a good or bad for me....

a meal is not complete without the drinks...
i had longan red date tea (cold)... nice... refreshingly sweet....

The highlight of several long hiking routes in MacRitchie that brings you through different stages of mature secondary forest. The first of its kind in Singapore and in the region, this free-standing suspension bridge connects the two highest points (Bukit Peirce and Bukit Kalang) in MacRitchie and offers a bird's eye view of the community of plants and animals that live in the forest canopy. The total length of the walkway is about 250m and its height from the forest floor varies, with the highest point at 25m.
The distance to the entrance of the TreeTop Walk is approximately 4.5 km (1.5 - 2 hour walk) from the MacRitchie Reservoir Park and 2.5 km (45 mins - 1 hr walk) from the carpark at Venus Drive. Therefore, a round trip including the TreeTop Walk is about 7 to 10 km (3-5 hours depending on your walking pace).

we took 3.5 hours.
we not only walked, we brave through rain (without any umbrella!). all we had was jus a bottle of water.
wow.. sounds like some jungle trekking right! :/
although im not a trail walking kinda person. i would say its rather good.
i din feel nauseous during the walk. was able to keep my breathing constant and it was great bonding time.
However after the walk, though feeling accomplished, we were totally drenched and tired.

but the shiokness is not here!

my feet felt like they just immersed themselves in a bucket of lemons.!
its suannnnnnnn daoooooooooooo!!!
until today i m still slowly limping to work, cause the pain shoot up to the thighs n butt area. :/

but den again, give me another time, i will still do it! but better prepare this time i guess. :)

i think most of you should have known that orchard ION is open!!!!
one of the benefits of working in orchard is lunch time can be used to explore the place without too many enthusiastic ppl pushing around.
a bunch of us went there during lunch today....
and i was browsing at kiehls, i was given free samples, a badge & a fun polaroid...

i guess ive always been slower to realise make up/skincare/mani/pedi are a LOVE LOVE NEED in a woman's life.
i started using make up in poly days, which compared to my peers, im really slow.
and the reason i started was cause i got my heart broken. haha. heart break sort of make me wanna make myself different.
i regularly went for eye brow treatment, and occasionally did mani & pedi. trust me, doing mani & pedi can be a pure therapy enjoyment. u just sit back and relax, allowing your legs & hands to be pampered.
Since young, my face has always been oily and acne prone. and there are old scars, and blackheads (super hate!)..
So now i try to take better care of my skin as much as i can.
Recently i top up on my derma products and the BB cream that is going on madly in the market now.
Im still new to using BB cream, will review when i use more.

Below are my usual skincare products with the addition of BB cream that my didi bought from taiwan. he ask the sales gal for a recommendation and the gal actually intro the brand i wanna get online.

One mini table and a small stool (for my lappie)

Singaporeans can expect 7 long weekends next year

SINGAPORE: Singaporeans can expect seven long weekends next year as a result of public holidays falling just before or after a weekend.

Travel agents said they are anticipating an increase in business as many will likely take advantage of the public holidays to go abroad.

Agents such as SA Tours and CTC Travel are optimistic that business will pick up next year after the effects of the H1N1 global outbreak and economic crisis wear off.

They plan to promote short packages to regional destinations for those who want to travel over the long weekends.

One public holiday to take note of is the Chinese New Year. The first day of the Lunar New Year in 2010 falls on Sunday, February 14, which is Valentine's Day.

For Deepavali next year, it is presently deemed to be November 5, but the date needs to be checked against the Indian Almanac when it is available. Should there be a change, the Manpower Ministry will issue a press release to announce it.
